Cultural Music Identity
Minijack is a music label and collective based in Amsterdam, founded and curated by me. Through Minijack, I work across both music curation and visual direction, creating projects that merge experimental sound with bold, context-driven design. Each release is approached as both a sonic and visual statement, aiming to reflect the communities and cultural environments in which the music emerges.
The projects U.A.G.L.I.O and TOGETHER exemplify this dual approach, blending editorial design, cultural research, and collaborative music production to shape distinctive identities for each release.

U.A.G.L.I.O is a music project born from the collaboration between Deepvision and Lefka, two artists from the Milan electronic scene. The visual direction embraces a minimalist two-colour aesthetic inspired by street culture, sampling graffiti tags from the project itself. The use of an unusual mini-CD format adds a tactile dimension and reflects the short, concentrated nature of the EP.
TOGETHER brings together 17 artists mainly based in Milan and Amsterdam, aiming to move away from static soundscapes and encourage unexpected experimentation. A limited edition of 50 eject-CDs was hand-printed with a double silkscreen process and released via Bandcamp. The visual identity draws inspiration from the historical posters of Milan’s La Scala theatre, merged with Amsterdam’s symbols. By blending and inverting these emblems, the design subtly critiques and resists the increasing rigidity of cultural institutions in both cities.
Across both projects, I worked as both curator and designer, shaping the musical direction while defining the visual language, materials, and editorial structure. The goal was to build a strong cultural identity that bridges local scenes and fosters collaboration.
