The main objective of the FinanceControl project was to create a clear and reliable internal tool to help Spill Drinks manage and track its financial performance. The dashboard provides an at-a-glance overview of essential metrics such as revenue, operating costs, margins, and cash flow, giving the team a unified and always up-to-date view of the company’s performance.
A key challenge was designing a real-time database structure capable of securely storing and syncing sensitive financial data across different sections of the platform. The back-end architecture focused on efficient data relationships and schema design to ensure accuracy, minimize redundancy, and allow for future scalability.
This required tight integration between UX decisions and back-end logic, ensuring that each visual element in the dashboard corresponded seamlessly to live, structured financial data.
